AustralianFootball.com Celebrating the history of the great Australian game
Since going back to back with grand final triumphs over Cranbourne in 2011 and St. John's in 2012 the Hawks have struggled somewhat, even slumping to a couple of wooden spoons. In 2017 they commenced in the Southern Football Netball League's Development Division and ended up in seventh place on the ten team premiership ladder after winning 4 of their 14 home and away matches. the following year saw the competition split into two divisions with Hallam allocated to the lower of these (known unsurprisingly as Division Two). They had a disappointing time, winning just 1 game on the field of play, plus 1 on forfeit to finish seventh of nine teams.
